Stephanie is the new Education Manager of Dumbarton House who started in October 2014. She takes lead on all youth and public programs, museum interpretation, tours and volunteer management. Stephanie believes in the value of informal education and began her museum career as education director at Sandy Spring Museum from 2010 to 2012, and went on to work as a membership specialist at the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital from 2012 till she joined the Dumbarton House staff. After gaining a Bachelor of Arts degree at Westminster College in Pennsylvania, Stephanie went to Goucher College in Baltimore, MD to pursue her Masters of Arts in Cultural Sustainability degree.

Stephanie is a Pittsburgh native who never misses an opportunity to gush over her hometown. She is an avid traveler who is always planning her next trip and enjoys researching her destinations just as much as she enjoys visiting them.
