Join us for an “Evening with Ray Bradbury!” Labeled by the New York Times as “the writer most responsible for bringing modern science fiction into the literary mainstream,” Bradbury has been recognized as one of the most celebrated 20th and 21st century writers. Sit back, relax and enjoy as his charming, mysterious and spooky short stories come to life on the stage! You won’t want to miss this magical night!
Reserved Seating is $20 in advance, only 40 tickets available.
General Admission: $15 in advance, $17 at the door
Reserved Seating ticket holders are guaranteed a seat for the duration of the performance. General Admission ticket holders are not guaranteed seating. Unreserved seating is limited and first come first serve. Standing room is located along the back and sides of the room.
Doors open at 6:00pm, performance begins at 7:00pm
This is a casual cocktail event in the museum’s Belle Vue Ballroom, located on the lower level, off of the parking lot. This event does sell out, and patrons may end up standing during the duration of the show. Doors open early for you to enjoy the ballroom and refreshments. Please note that the museum will not be open for tours.Please note a portion of this performance will be outside, weather permitting. Please dress for an indoor/outdoor performance.
Wine, beer, popcorn & other refreshments will be available for sale. No outside alcohol. Outside food allowed.
Proceeds from the performance & concessions benefit preservation & education efforts at Dumbarton House and Advancing Girls’ Education in Africa.
