Playing the Past Girl Scout Program

Posted on: June 17th, 2017 by Stephanie Boyle

Learn how girls lived during the Federal Period. Juniors will tour the historic house to “research” their role, then it’s time to pretend you’re a young woman living in the new capital city. Write with a quill pen, play games, make a clothespin doll to take home, and enjoy a tea party. This program includes a tour of the house, program supplies, a Dumbarton House patch, and a snack.
