Colin Gliniecki​

Development Data Manager

Colin is the Development Data Manager at Dumbarton House, assuming this position in February of 2021. He has previously worked for Dumbarton House in two different capacities, both as a Visitor Engagement Specialist and Development Assistant. He joined the Dumbarton House team after moving to Washington, D.C. in 2018 to pursue a Master’s of Arts in Museum Management and Certificate of Nonprofit Management from The George Washington University. For his undergraduate degrees, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business and Bachelor of Arts in History from Indiana University. Previous to his time at Dumbarton House, he has built experience working, interning, and volunteering at the National Air and Space Museum, Shedd Aquarium, Chicago History Museum, Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, and the Glenn A. Black Laboratory of Archaeology.

In addition to his work at Dumbarton House, Colin works as a Research Assistant for Engaging Places where he studies financial data from the museum industry.

Colin joined Dumbarton House in August 2018.

Fun Fact: Colin is a World War I history enthusiast and has begun a small (but growing!) collection of trench art.
