Laurie Ossman

Interim Executive Director

Dr. Laurie Ossman most recently served as Collections Consultant for Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, MA. She was Senior Fellow at The Antiquities Collection in Washington, DC, Director of Museum Affairs for the Preservation Society of Newport County, RI, and Director of Woodlawn and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Pope Leighey House in Alexandria, VA.  She has an AB degree from Brown University and a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.

Fun fact: Although she lives in Seminary Hill, Alexandria now, she is not unfamiliar with DC; at various times she has lived in Dupont Circle, Foggy Bottom, Chevy Chase, Capitol Hill & American University Park!
