Year-Round Tuesday through Sunday, 11:00am to 3:00pm (last museum entry is 2:45pm)

Self-guided tours are available year round. To arrange a docent-led tour, please call 202-337-2288, or complete the Tour Registration Form a minimum of three business days in advance.

Groups of five or more persons must schedule in advance (group discounts apply). For more information, please visit Group and Specialty Tours.

Dumbarton House is closed on many Federal holidays. Please check our FaceBook page for updates, as the schedule is variable.

Dumbarton House is committed to promoting the use of sustainable transportation as a way to reduce local traffic congestion, air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Metrorail: The closest station is the Dupont Circle Station via the Red Line. From the Q Street exit, the house is approximately six blocks west on Q Street, NW, just over the Q Street Bridge leading to Georgetown, a short walk or ride on the D2 or D6 bus lines. DC Circulator: The DC Circulator bus runs every 10 minutes and the fare is $1 in each direction.

Capital Bikeshare: The District’s bikesharing program makes bicycles available to anyone. Simply take a bike from one of over 155 stations in DC and Arlington, and return it to a docking station. Dumbarton House is fully ADA accessible. Handicapped parking is available in our parking lot, located off 27th Street, just north of Q Street.
