Playing the Past Girl Scout Workshop

In our Playing the Past workshop, Junior Girl Scouts learn about life during the Federal Period. Girl Scouts will tour the historic house to “research” their role, then it’s time to pretend you’re a young woman living in the new capital city. After the program, your Girl Scout will be able to write a story, play games, and have a tea party! This program will cover all 5 steps to earn the Playing the Past Badge. Badges are not provided but Dumbarton House patches are.

Register your Girl Scout here by selecting “Register for a Girl Scout Badge Workshop” on the Google Form. In-person programs are $15/Girl Scout and $5 per adult. Payment can be made by calling (202) 337-2288 ext.2222.
